Whether you’re a player in an existing team wanting additional individual coaching or a small group of players wanting to hone your skills, Stefano Salvatori’s small group coaching will improve players’ skill levels.
Working with groups of up to 16 players, Stefano offers small group coaching to improve players’ techniques and team work. By exposing players to high level technical drills and repeating these, Stefano can perfect players’ technique which can dramatically improve their ability and game.
Small group coaching is ideally suited to an existing team wanting to build specific skills. A block of four, 1 ½ hour sessions at your club, school or other location may be all that your players need to reach that next level and gain a competitive edge. Alternatively, you can join an existing small group based on your age and skill level.
Small group coaching is held at the following times:
- Monday to Friday – 4pm to 5.30pm
- Monday and Thursday – 5.30pm to 7pm
- Saturday – 10.30am to 12pm
For small group coaching, Stefano divides players broadly into three age groups and follows the Football Federation of Australia’s development phases:
- Aged 9 to 11 – skill acquisition phase
- Aged 12 to 14 – skill acquisition phase and game training phase
- Aged 15 to 18 - game training phase and performance phase
Once engaged, Stefano will liaise with parents, players and coaches to tailor a four-session coaching program to meet your needs.

EXAMPLE OF HOW STEFANO’S SMALL GROUP COACHING WORKS
A player in an under 13 team in a local high school heard about Stefano’s great drills through a friend at his football club. Wanting to improve his and his team’s skills, he approached his parents and his coach about the idea to have some small group coaching with Stefano. Working with the coach and the parents, Stefano tailored a block of four sessions to work on the players’ teamwork, defence skills, and passing skills.
