Born in Rome, Stefano Salvatori was discovered by the AC Milan Academy when he was 16 and played his first Serie A match when he was 19. Stefano was a part of the AC Milan team in 1989/90 (pictured below left) that won the Champions League Cup, Super Cup and Intercontinental Cup. He was selected for the Under 21 Italian national team in 1989 and played 13 matches.
While most of his career was played in Italy, Stefano also played in Scotland for Hearts of Midlothian, Edinburgh winning the Scottish Premier League in 1998 (pictured below right).
Stefano continues to have strong connections with clubs throughout Europe and the UK – connections that can benefit players with professional career aspirations.
